She established herself as a prominent figure in the San Francisco Bay Area, particularly in Sausalito, California, where she based her practice. Autumn's architectural practice, Davis-Autumn Architects Planners, which she co-founded with associate John Marsh Davis, produced notable designs, including wineries and her own residence.
