Syd Zolf

Syd Zolf is a Canadian-American poet and theorist who has established a notable presence in the literary world. Their poetic oeuvre comprises five collections, including Her absence, this wanderer, published in 1999, Masque in 2004, Human Resources in 2007, Neighbour Procedure in 2010, and Janey's Arcadia in 2014. These works have garnered significant recognition, with nominations and shortlistings for various prestigious awards, such as the Lambda Literary Award, the Trillium Book Award for Poetry, and the Vine Award.

In addition to their poetry, Zolf has also made contributions to the field of literary theory. Their work No One's Witness: A Monstrous Poetics, published in 2021, was a finalist for the 2022 Pegasus Award for Poetry Criticism from the Poetry Foundation.
