Avraham Avi-hai

Avraham Avi-hai was a prominent Israeli civil servant and writer, active in various fields throughout his career. Born in 1931, he went on to hold significant positions in the Israeli government and Zionist organizations. As a member of the Jewish Agency for Israel and the World Zionist Organization executives, Avi-hai played a key role in shaping the country's development and international relations.

Avi-hai's career was marked by his association with several notable Israeli leaders. He served on the staff of David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, and later as secretary for public affairs to Prime Minister Levi Eshkol. Additionally, he held the position of World Chairman of Keren Hayesod–United Israel Appeal, further solidifying his commitment to Israeli activism and public service. Avi-hai passed away in 2023, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to his country and its people.
